It was -31.5 degrees at 7:30am today. Jeeesch!!! It may be time to set up the gym again in the shop since I don't have any major wood project to work on. I looked at the plans to build a solo canoe, but since I already have four canoes it isn't likely to ever be used.

Only -28 this morning; but it was -36.2 a couple days ago. Time to head into the deer shack where exercise consists of hauling wood, chopping a hole in the river, hauling water, etc. Just like everyone did every day a few generations ago.

Chest and triceps this morning. Deadlifts yesterday, upped the top end by 10lbs on the pyramid and feel good today. I will do that weight once more on the cycle the up it a little bit again. With the current 15 day rotation I only do standard deadlifts once every three weeks, but have DB deads and then the hip sled during that time frame too, plus two kettlebell rotations that work that posterior chain pretty good. I am debating upping the DB deadlifts a little bit too to keep the push going there.

It hit 40 degrees here yesterday; only 77 degree difference from a couple weeks ago. Back to the shack for some quality time around the "Firepit of Knowledge". Chopping a hole in the river will likely be a lot easier than the last time.

Back and biceps morning, I have two days of cardio next which will be good. Squats yesterday didn't actually kick my butt as bad as I thought It would.

Whats everones favorite streches? Ive lost so much flexibility and went to the orthopedic doc and he said most of my foot problems are from contacted tendons.
Yoga moves?

Got a heck of a good run in with the warmer weather the last 2 days. Longest run of the year so far and a pretty good pace i think.

In my opinion, there is no such thing as a favorite stretch. We stretched a lot during my years doing martial arts, and then later on in some yoga classes. I like doing weight training, and loved to run, but I must say that I hate stretching with a purple passion. That is not to say that there isn't any merit in doing them.
