Had another class for my regime on what exercises they want us doing with the resistance bands and how often.

Did 30 mins of resistance band workouts

Thursday
Rest day

Friday
Part 3 of mountain 5
475ft of elevation gain

2 min warmup
5 rounds
(2 mins strength steady pace
2 mins speed )
1 min cool down

Had my heart rate going so did 2 more mins of cooldown after the workout

I hate to say but this last 2 weeks I have been a slack-@$$. Wyoming bound in 7 days, gunna get the body loosened up this week with some running and bodyweight stuff.
You’ve been putting in the work so don’t fret, you’ll be fine. It’s a good idea to get a few jobs and some light weights in to loosen things up and be prime for the mountains

Left calf was pretty sore today, thought about resting today, then my kids wanted to do a bike ride. Not sure exactly how far, but was 90 minutes, and my calf feels great! Most have just need to be loosened up I guess.

Getting loosened up this week.

Jumping jacks x 50
Burpees x 15
Squats 135 x 15
Pull ups x 10
Push ups x 15
Bicycle crunches x 30
Deadlifts 135 x 12
Calf Raises 135 x 15

Repeat 3x, followed by 5 min cycle cool down, stretching & rolling.

Wyoming bound in 4 days!!!! :)

Finally in the woods for the first time this fall chasing deer. Season opened on the 1st just bad weather and bad work shifts delaying my start. Havent had luck with my bow yet in 7 years of trying missed a few shots so not because of a lack of a chance. Been about 7 years also since I shot my last deer ready to get some venison. Luckily I've done well with the small game hunting lol
