Mine's a custom build that's very light. I added a muzzle break and it's just fine recoil wise.

I'd recommend you take a look at the .28 Nosler also … it's a great round.

Same here CC. My Dad and I used Sierra bullets exclusively in our pre-64 Model 70 Winchester, 30-06 on whitetails back in PA. They grouped very well and we never had a problem on deer, and we (mostly my Dad) killed quite a few with them.

I'm closing the deal on a new house up past Woodland Park … at about 9,200 feet elevation. 10 acers that backs up to 1,000's more of open space. Pretty good views. Just one neighbor … hope they're nice :-)
