I agree Fink. My lab is an inside dog and he’s awesome with kids. Protective too ... came across a Mt lion while hiking once. It scared my Golden who ran back to me and when my lab saw that he took off full speed after the cat (I’m glad he didn’t catch it). Best of luck choosing your dog...

Hard pass here. I’ll focus on shot placement so I kill the animal quickly. If it walks off a ways I’ll trail it. Too much technology takes away from the art of hunting & fair chase.

My gun smith recommended the Big Horn Action for my 28 Nosler build. I went with it and I like it.

My Irish Wolfhound, Lab and Golden are all inside dogs. I put in a dog door so they can go out into a dog run and it works out great.

One of my pups is an Irish Wolfhound ... about 200 pounds. Protects us from dinosaurs and such.
