bought the tan pelican maybe 15 years ago, its great. have the double rifle aluminum steel whatever it is, dented on my first hunt with it. still works, but no wheels.... and a big dent, I have it if I need it, but between my pelican and a single skb rifle case, those get all the use.

I see the Jan,Feb seasons are tougher to draw....? is that just a time of year issue? or is there a better reason to hunt them in jan/feb as opposed to sept oct ?? I assume more guys are just hunting elk etc...other animals then and take a chance at them in jan/feb...

I didn't see it questioned....but I always wonder why non-violent felons are banned from gun ownership? Honestly it feels like just another gun law aiming to strip away gun rights. especially if that's their 1 conviction and with 10, 20, 30+ years good behavior. there have been violent felons...

What are your thoughts on the odds of being successful hunting a shiras out west with a bow vs. a rifle? ie., is bow something like 10% but a rifle would be 90% ?? any thoughts?
