    Opening The Can Of Worms...Coronavirus...

For anyone who hasn't looked into it, you should google senators selling stocks. I won't offer my opinion but I do think all Americans should be aware. Could be just more media BS but could be real BS.

Social Distancing - What's Everyone Doing?

*Dusting off the home gym. *Shooting my bow more. (Can't think of a better way to distance than archery hunting) *Getting ready for turkey season with my son. *Taking a good inventory of all outdoor gear. Great time to organize and make lists for upcoming trips. *Starting one on one baseball...

    Opening The Can Of Worms...Coronavirus...

Just closed our schools here in Central Nebraska "indefinitely". They are going to attempt to do a remote learning program on Monday. In our rural area, that's going to be tough with limited internet for a lot of families. This is going to be pretty tough on a lot of kids/families who aren't...

    Opening The Can Of Worms...Coronavirus...

I honestly think I would rather take my chances with the virus than to wait and see how society is going to behave over the next couple months. I guess I don't have a lot of faith in the general public these days.

    Opening The Can Of Worms...Coronavirus...

I'm not sure what to think but I know 30 years ago the majority of the world wouldn't have even know about it. The fear that this is creating is real. My mom is really worried and is rarely leaving her house. My company has limited travel and we have had to cancel several important business...

    Slicktrick

Gen 1 slick tricks... I hear they worked well. All kidding aside, flight is the only real consideration to me. Every broadhead on the market will kill if you get it into the boiler room. I know buddies that shoot this head or that head but the only way I feel comfortable is by shooting it...

    Davis wall tent

Great tents that are durable and easy to set up. We are now using 3 of them for our larger camps. You can catch a sale occasionally if you are patient.

Anyone on the forum manufacturing euro hangers?

Thought I would post a couple pics of my son's deer hanging on Troy's mount. Very solid and clean look imo.

    Wyoming summer vacation

I would pick a different route up personally. That's not the best drive for scenery or hotel pricing. You are correct, the park will be very busy and at times you will feel like you never escaped that Denver traffic. In you shoes I would even consider switching the entire trip. Maybe head up...

    Meat processing around Laramie WY

Trails West just east of Rawlins did a nice job for me a few years back. There used to be several good ones in Laramie but the cost of doing business there has exponentially increased. It's a tough town for small businesses.

Anyone on the forum manufacturing euro hangers?

I'll try to post a pic in a couple of days. Troy's hangers look and work great. The skull feels very solid once on the hanger, unlike some I have tried in the past. For the price, pretty hard to beat.

    Million acre land buy

I'm afraid the benefit to sportsmen may not be a priority with this potential purchase. While it could be good, it might also be a giant oilfield/wind mill field where hunters aren't allowed. I would love to read further to understand the specifics.

Anyone on the forum manufacturing euro hangers?

I am shopping for a few new hangers for Deer Euro mounts and a buddy is looking for a couple elk ones. I also know a taxidermist that is looking for a new supplier. There are plenty available online but I thought I would see if anyone on here makes them.

    Wyoming 30 years ago

In the early 2000s the doe tags were still over the counter for many areas. I took groups of guys out several different years and we each bought several tags and very rarely ever saw another hunter. Boy how the internet has changed things...

    Winter herd updates?

Nothing negative to report from my contacts in Wyoming and Colorado yet. Typically the animals are fine until mid to late winter even on bad years. It's those late storms with brutal cold that are the real killers the majority of years.

    2020 goals/desires

Planning to draw Wyoming Mule deer and General Elk. My goal is to be in excellent shape so I can make the most of both hunts. My youngest is 11 so this is the last year I plan to hunt Wyoming without him for the foreseeable future. I'm excited to teach him western hunting but I also realize...

    Wyoming's Top Scoring Pronghorn?

I'm not sure of the answer but I would be pretty surprised if it wasn't one of the southern border areas of Fremont County. Your missing a couple. 60 and 92. Good chance the bucks came from 60, 61, 64, or 92. I have seen the occasional buck come from an odd area though so who knows. I...

Preference Points Going into the Draw

That's incorrect- Here it is from the web site. "For moose and full price bighorn sheep, preference points can be accumulated either by submitting an application for the limited quota drawings or by purchasing a preference point during the preference point application period using the online...
