Drug a deer off 400’ of vertical in 500yards then 3/4 mile down a closed road. Then skinned and quartered em up in the garage.

1st Kill With the Lefty Bow

Was able to harvest this small 7pt this morning after missing the buck of a lifetime at 22yds, how I’ll never know. The trail cam photo from today was at the exact time I was 300yds away field dressing mine. This may very well be the one I missed. Oh well, thankful for the harvest and maybe...

What to top my new rifle with

I’m with CC on this one. On my last build I stepped up to a VX-5hd and honestly don’t see much difference from the XV-3i’s I have. Used the custom turret from Leupold from 300-600 and it held zero perfect and hit well at all distances. No experience with Huskemaw but hear great things. I’m just...

    Finally! Wyoming Bound in 12hrs.

Well for starters I’m going to invent a wind controlling device hahahaha. All joking aside, looking back I probably should have covered another 2 areas I had picked out from OnX scouting. They covered different elevation and terrain and maybe that would have been the difference. Pressure...

Nosler E Tip 300 win mag

Maybe the lead-free wasn’t as popular as they thought. IMHO, just use accu-bonds, they won’t let ya down. Midway has 150, 165 & 180’s in stock currently

    Who else is...

Trying to recovery a little this week as I’ve been plagued with stupid over-use type nagging pains and my elk hunt did nothing to help any of that. Not working out so far though - 28,000 steps, mostly up and down ladders, in 2 days working on trying to button up my garage addition before the...
