300 Weatherby and 180 gr Swift Scirocco 2 bullets

No experience on elk 😔, or bigger game, but I shot a whitetail with a 180 AB at 75 yards just below the white fur patch on the neck and got the bullet where the hind quarter met the backstrap, traveled 3’ through the deer & weighed 163grs, pretty good in my book. Mine chrono at 3165ish.

I have no experince with the Scirroco’s, Just wondering why the switch? I too run 7828 with 180 Accu-bonds and they shoot about 1/2 moa and are killing machines.

Gloves - 2019 State of the Union

I have these for when the cold gets colder. Flip over with a zipper pocket for a handwarmer, it’s amazing how much heat them babies hold in from that little handwarmer. Oh they’re gore-tex too.

    Case trimmer

Can’t speak for either. I also use a hand trimmer. Forster, once set up it’s very precise & I cant see much time saved using a drill.

    Buddy heater cooker

Looks handy! While my woodstove had the tent so hot I slept in underwear most nights, the lack of dealing with wood & lugging a 100lb stove may be a welcomed change.
