    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

Why would a refund even be considered? NR and R hunters who have purchased points got exactly what they paid for...points. There was never anything else promised when they purchased them. None have been taken away either. Life is a gamble, just like purchasing points...and I have a metric chit...

Opinions vary...and I respect yours but would be nice if that person had at least one quality LQ tag...

What I figured...mine look nearly identical. Bunch of second and third choice tags.

Only fact that matters is what comes out of the task force and makes it through the legislature and commission...

Bolded part...care to make a wager on that?...BTDT. You sound upset?

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

What tags were they? Living in WY and taking significant hits to career advancement, earning potential, as well as living in an adverse climate etc. etc. year around for a couple doe pronghorn tags really isn't worth paying that price. The theme I heard across the room at the task force, is...

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

Many want to be updated on these issues, if you think its bullshit feel free to scroll on by and not read it. Others find value in getting the information and that's part of the reason why I spend my annual leave days/days off attending things like this. Nobody is forcing you to respond or...

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

Totally agree, 116 tags for sheep, moose, goat and bison isn't fixing the high demand and low supply. No matter what the allocations are, the best way for both R and NR hunters to be happier is to increase supply (higher herd numbers). The problem with that is...not many show up to do that...

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

Can't predict the future, but from many, many conversations with a wide variety of hunters across the State, I think WY residents would be pretty happy to be treated the same as Residents in ID, MT, OR, CA, AZ, NV, etc. in regard to resident tag allocations. Or maybe more correctly, start...

Sounds like Colorado is the place to be...don't care what Colorado Residents want to do with their wildlife. This is about Wyoming...

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

Under current quotas for sheep, moose, goat, and bison it will be a big deal to another 116 Resident hunters...as well as moving applicants through the sheep and moose point pools much faster.

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

90-10 for the rest is priority #2 on the taskforce list and will be more contentious but I expect a change to be recommended there too.

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

Bottom line is Wyoming Residents have the right to manage our wildlife as we see fit. ID, MT, NM, AZ, OR, etc. all run successful wildlife programs with 90-10 (or less). The GF budget is not only fine, but has nearly a years worth of operating expenses in reserve. PR/DJ funding is probably as...

    Wildlife task force, 90-10, etc.

The initial 2 day meeting of the 18 member task force is in the books. Ground rules were set, introductions were made, and a list of items to address was presented. Within that list, there was a ranking of priority that I didn't get a photo of, but should be available on the website soon. The...

    2021 WY Quality

If you have 5 degrees, then you should be well aware of statistical error, sampling error, standard deviation, data set size, and how easily statistics can be manipulated, misunderstood, cherry picked, etc. etc. etc. By the way, have you seen the source of Sebastian's data? Cross referenced it...

    2021 WY Quality

I bet you were a pro at twister when you were a kid... Who said anything about 6-7 1/2 year old bucks? That's all you, from your supposed "data"...and maybe study up on why anyone would send a 2 or 3 year old buck to a lab for aging. That makes as much sense as a soup sandwich. Re-read some of...

    2021 WY Quality

I'm not shocked that 3 separate groups of hunters that have taken 30+ B&C pronghorns between them, killed in pretty large geographic area of Wyoming, have all aged them at 4+... Didn't take a spread sheet or 2000 words to draw that conclusion.

    2021 WY Quality

Sebastian, Glad you finally came to your senses...what Larry, myself, Jeff, and others have always known: That pretty much tells me that antelope bucks often reach their peak at 4 to 5 years of age Really? How profound of a conclusion...lots of word salad, spread sheets, to come up with...

    2021 WY Quality

Back on topic...I think central Wyoming units are going to be good this year from what I've been seeing and hearing. Was out all day yesterday looking over a couple units before my final decision on a unit to apply for. Lots of stuff this size and good prongs seemed to be the norm: A...
