I've been doing some cutting and property clearing at our new property we bought in October. Getting it ready to hopefully build late spring 2024

Two of us rode all day in the outback country with no other snowmobile tracks in sight. Rivers, lakes, old railroad right of ways, brush where old trails used to be. We got stuck, broke thru the ice, were occasionally lost, and we loved every minute. (Well maybe not during the stuck part.) My partner today was my best friend in high school, and the best man at my wedding (49+ years ago.) Too much time has passed without us sharing time together. Tomorrow I will just be riding trails with a different guy. I took a pass on my exercises this morning because I expected to have a good workout. Let's just say that that plan worked out.

Tim; Great photos. I'll have to remember to take some the next time I am out. The last time I was in the area that I rode yesterday, we came across 7 deer kills and one moose kill. All were accomplished by wolves, and it looked like a war zone when they kill a moose out on a lake.
Now, there are no deer, and the wolves have moved somewhere else where they can survive and repeat the process.
My 2015 RMK died last season out in Idaho, and I replaced it with a 2015 RMK with half the miles....keep on truckin'.

I'm planning to work on strength through the spring, but then I'm gonna shift to more endurance/strength through the summer leading up to September. Unless the folks at MtnTough come out with something even better, I plan to do HP20 again in July and August. That worked great for me last year.
Oh man we are going to be launching our Preseason 2.0 just in time for May! It is so good. We've already tested it in the gym and we cannot wait for everyone else to try it.

Marcus: I eventually decided to limit my outdoor running in the winter due to ice and the risk of falling or being struck by vehicles. I hated the treadmill, but that filled my aerobic training needs until the big thaw. Alas, my running days are behind me though.
I broke my plow yesterday trying to deal with the 16" of fresh snow (with nowhere to put it.) It was -10 this morning and I am waiting for a warm-up so I can start the tractor to move what I can. It is likely to get to 30 today and 40 tomorrow......come on global warming.

Kettlebell work and then some overhead press mixed in. Was a solid 35-40 minute workout. Will be all back/biceps tomorrow closed with some time rowing. Will likely use the MTNTOUGH warm up beforehand.
