Well……color me as very envious! Great job!I pumped out 23 pullups this morning as part of my regular exercise. I haven't done that in over 30 years. I don't know any 20 year olds who can do it. I saw a young man shadow sparing while driving thru town yesterday and thought about stopping to give him a real challenge. What do you guys think. I'm not 70 until August.
I used to do a lot of pull-ups…..35 years ago!
Will be be 70 in December, and have started, in January, to try and get back into some semblance of decent shape! I want to incoprorate pull-ups into my little workout routine….but, just can’t get started with them. Maybe next week……hopefully can start at 10 and slowly increase. But, carrying an additional 20 pounds or so will not help any!Presently my workout is 40 push-ups, 100 crunche, 3 sets (15,12,10) of “preacher curls” with 20 lb. dumbbell, and 6.5 miles in 20 minutes on a Swinn Airdyne (using legs only), totaling 7.5 miles after the 5 minute cooldown. This is my every other day routine.
My goal is too merely drop a few pounds and get into a little better shape! If it just so happens to improve my hunting abilities…..so be it!
Keep up the good work! memtb
