Treadmill jog: 2 miles @ 10 min/mi pace. Everything feels good. Longer run planned later this week. Also getting out the mountain bike this weekend.

The Fitbit routine is working, and I've been pleasantly surprised when I get on the scales lately. Wind up walking about 3 miles in the leg brace each day.

Eating less helps. Whatever I have for lunch, I just eat half then, then eat the other half for dinner.

Found the light switch to the downstairs fitness area... Doc says the elliptical and treadmill are off limits until first of JUN at the earliest. The two Century Bobs sport t-shirts to provoke hammer fists to the side of their throats, soft nose tissue, ear canal, etc. I've seen my 12-year-old stepdaughter take the hats off and slap the dummies with them.

Used the soft-bag to do bicep curls today. Figured if I dropped that, it would not cause as much damage as the free weights.

Bicep curls 5x10 20lbs

Tuesday

Run but legs very fatigued. Hit 2 mile mark and had to stop for a busy road and do some calf and shin stretches as they were super tight. Then mile 2.75 short 30 secbreak to cross another busy road. Right foot went numbish about 2.5 miles again

I'm hoping I need to go on an accelerated exercise regimen after the NV drawing results are posted on Friday and I find out I drew a desert bighorn tag or Mountain goat tag.

Good luck with the draw. I am going with the theory that I will eventually be drawn for something, and I want the least of my concerns at that point, to be physically capable of hunting said draw.

I appreciate you guys posting here, as it continues to motivate me towards getting in shape.

The interesting part of this process, is that as soon as you start seeing results, it makes you want to see even more. I have lost track of how many jumbo [fill in your favorite desert dish] I have thumbed my nose at lately...

Yep this is the first forum I check when I get on here. You guys keep me motivated. And since no hunting for me for a couple years I will be following your hunts on here
