Small lift workout but its something

I did 4 miles in the dark and mud last night- struggling to find time to work out. I have been stalled at 224 pounds for 4 days. Going to push hard tonight and try to break the cycle.

Hard time fitting in my workout tonight lots of errands after work and getting things set made and clean around the house for my sons 3rd birthday party.

Party went great my son had a great time.

Weighed in this morning down 2.4 pounds to 265 almost back to my lowest weight since starting which was 264.2.

Also got a special gift from my grand father today. He gave me my his fathers 22LR. So my great grand fathers 22. Its in great shape for the age of the gun. Its amazing to have such a great family air loom

221 this morning- down 3 pounds over the last week. I did 7.5 miles yesterday in an hour and a half. About three miles were cross country through CRP so slowed me down a bit. The dog loves it as we found plenty of pheasants. I also did about an hour of planks yesterday- every form I could find on the web. My back and core are very sore today so I know I hit my target muscles well.

My first race got moved from april 23 to april 30. Then my next race is may 7 and then another may 20. 3 races really close together. Then one in july another end of sept and yet another begining of october

I did a dirt bike trip from Thursday through Sunday down in Utah so I got a good workout from that. Did 2 miles on the treadmill at an 8:15 mile.

It's time to listen to my body. I may have pushed it just a little too hard on Saturday and I'm still a little sore today from that workout. Even with two days of no real workout just a few walks. This morning I added some jogging in between sets to get the blood flowing properly.

I have really discovered my body needs a rest day at least once a week. My weight loss will slow or stop after 5 or 6 days of hard workouts but I always have a big drop after the rest day. I'm finding it harder and harder to "take a day off" though. My body just wants to go and sitting at a desk all day is tough.
