Saturday workout was a run. And i set a new PR dropped dropped it by 90 secs. And overal pace was great all three miles were under 11 mins. Shoulder felt good during the run a little stiff/sore now couple hours later. Thinking the 60 degrees and rain helped my pace a little.

Rest is good Marcus. Don't worry. It's a healthy journey, not a race. You did not gain the weight over-night, or even in 1 month or 1 year. Stay positive and stay the course my friend.

Worked out of town most of the week. Saturday: I jogged 5 miles in 50:30
Back on track this week.

I eat like a pig at tradeshows. Don't know why, just always have. But I do average walking 10 miles a day at them.

Been a little under the weather from an allergic reaction, but did 4 miles with weighted packs on Saturday with my wife.

No more grappling until after the season, worried about injury. Lifting, running, hiking, swimming from here on out. Less than eight weeks until we leave.

Thanks man yeah definately been a life style change and not just effecting me. I cook at home not my wife and of course we had our second son 5 weeks ago now and she stepped on the scale the other day and she came out smiling causes at her pre children weight.

I know its going to happen theres a point where the body has to adjust and it takes time before it starts losing again. Going back to work and that extra activity in a few weeks should help

I always have the same problem at shows and fairs. The walking around all over helps. But got to treat yourself once and a while right

Monday: Chest-worked up to 5x5 @ 205lb
I've been sticking with my 5x5 but since it calls for legs every other day or every workout, I switch to dumbbell lunges every other time instead of squats. I'm lost 15.8 pounds since late May and I went up on my lifts from 185 squats to 195 or 205. Can't remember lol. Tonight I think I'll put 195 or 205 for bench since I've been at 185 for a long time. Then I won't be worried about getting all 5 reps on the last two sets.

Sounds good. Now you are pushing/motivating me to move forward as I've been completing all sets/reps.
I just finished this program on Inclines and finished with a few more pounds. I may have started a few lbs light, but my workout schedule has been hectic and I did not want to fall on my face out of the gate.
Keep us posted!

I wish i could lift right now but the doctor said to stay away from it till my next check on the shoulder. Its starting to feel better so might break out the yoga mat and do crunches and abs workouts. The not being able to lift sucks i was just starting to get a good idea on stuff.

Good to see you guys busting the weights

Hang in there bud. Keep the diet clean and the cardio intense. If you can continue to make gains, or in this case, loses, just think what will happen once you can crush this thing! You'll make a big charge at that time.

I have been doing the Freeletics program. Its like a HIT workout. High intensity cardio and strength building all without weights and hardly needing any area to do the workout at all. Been kickin my a$$! But have seen gains and improvements in just a few weeks time.

According to Fitbit... I burned 730 calories yesterday in my activites. I walk to work twice a day, and had a pretty good workout last night. I pushed the pace on my warm up run and it went pretty well. I am going to up that significantly over the course of the next few weeks to really get the legs in shape for my upcoming deer hunt.

Will also put this out there, and may even start a thread on it. I took 23,492 steps when I hiked out from my deer area and burned 7,459 calories that day. When I hiked in I took 21,591 steps and burned 7,890 calories, the higher calorie count is from the up hill portion. A while back we debated calorie needs on a backcountry hunt, I am questioning my 3500 a day count based on these numbers. Even if say the the count is wrong by 15 to 20% that still means 3500 is still really low.

Might need to plan more for the hike in day for calories and then back to 3500 for the hunt days then something little higher for the hike out. With the hike out could leave some high calorie stuff at the truck to take in after hiking out if that makes sense
