According to Fitbit... I burned 730 calories yesterday in my activites. I walk to work twice a day, and had a pretty good workout last night. I pushed the pace on my warm up run and it went pretty well. I am going to up that significantly over the course of the next few weeks to really get the legs in shape for my upcoming deer hunt.
Will also put this out there, and may even start a thread on it. I took 23,492 steps when I hiked out from my deer area and burned 7,459 calories that day. When I hiked in I took 21,591 steps and burned 7,890 calories, the higher calorie count is from the up hill portion. A while back we debated calorie needs on a backcountry hunt, I am questioning my 3500 a day count based on these numbers. Even if say the the count is wrong by 15 to 20% that still means 3500 is still really low.
