16 down, 14 to go. The last time I cut weight like this I got down to 165 but I wasn't lifting or anything so I chose 170 as my goal. I guess it depends on how I look when I get closer to my goal. I'm 5'9"ish. Thoughts on my goal weight?

Really depends on body composition. Unfortunately, age plays a factor as well.
I am 42yr old & 5'9" @ 185lb. I'm at about 10-12% body fat with visible abs (I don't deem a flat stomach to be abs  but is obviously healthy!). 50"shoulder/32"waist
Doctors & Science tell me that I'm over weight. I should weigh 140-155lb. The last time I struggled to drop down to 154.25lb was a few years ago. At that time I had veins running down my shins and across my arse and was sitting at about 5% body fat. I struggled to get there and took 4th place in the Ohio Natural NPC Championship(drug-free). Ideally, I feel that 170lb & 15-18% body fat is a good healthy weight for this height for the 'average' guy. There are exceptions.

btw: your workouts look strong. Keep it up. You pushed me to up my bench sets! Thx.

Good for you Marcus! I'll be waiting for the 100lb drop. I know you can do it!
After losing 82.5lb, it's only a measly 17.5lb away.

the trail head for the hike is about an hour from the house.
This morning I got up early and went and checked my trail cam. It is actually a pretty good hump into where the cam is set up. I did jump 4 raghorn bull elk this morning on my way in. Temps was only 45 degrees when I left the truck. Fall is coming. 4000 photos on the trail cam. The last time I checked it was on the 4th of july. I got deer, elk, moose, bear, coyote and wolf. I got a pic of 5 elk bedded down in front of the cam. I will post some pics later. I got a pretty good comparision between coyote and wolf. Both animals facing the same way at the same spot.
