Today i did a good amount of working out

Abs
Crunches 3 sets 25
Bicycle crunches 2 sets 25
Leg lifts straight legged 2 sets 15 each leg
30 sec planks 3 sets

Legs
Leg curls 3 sets 10 30#
Hip extension 3 sets 10 30#
Hip abduction 3 sets 10 30#
Squats 2 sets 10

Arms
Biceps curl 3 sets 10 20#
Military press 3 set 10 30#
Triceps extension 3 sets 10 30#
Shoulder press 3 sets 10 20#
Triceps press 3 sets 10 20#

Cardio
Rode recumbent bike 35 mins on cross training setting got 10.3 miles

Then went out turkey hunting and hiked around to find a spot for 30 mins with 30# of gear( backpack, blind, chair) on my back

This might sound weird to some people but it was a great feeling being able to walk around and scout/find a spot and not be winded from the walking. Last year i would have been completely winded and out of breath. Was a great feeling to feel that difference helping on the hunt as well. Also some of my really tight fitting hunting clothes from last season are a little loose. Been getting a few deals on camofire but looking like i need more clothes that fit but October bow season.

Saw one bird well out there but wouldnt come in

Marcus, keep up the good work. Great to see stories like yours! Not sure where you are but if near an orangetheory, give it a long hard look at least for a month trial....

So today was my last circuit of the week. This one was to jogg 2 miles no walking. It was hard and i had to push through at the end but did it. Wasnt able to complete my loop though since there was a festival downtown that i wasnt going to be able to run through.

Today was a break day for me thought about working out being 300 calories over but decided not and give my body day off after my run Saturday.

Was also weigh in day lost 3 pounds this week putting me down 66.5 pounds.

Had to get new shorts today as others were to big. Kinda nice not having to shop the big and tall section

First Trail Run in a while. You know I think the secret that works for me is to run with people who are faster than me...

Ever Heard of "Pace Booty"? It can be a great training tool.

7 miles, and I ran some hills I had to walk in April.

In other news, I had my measurements after roughly a year...Here is how things have changed

I must say I've come a long way from a year ago.

Weight: down 24 pounds

body fat percentage: down 5%

hips: -4.4 inches

waist -3.0 inches

rt thigh -6.1 inches

lt thigh -5.6 inches

rt calf +.4 inch

lt calf +1.2 inches and more even

r bicep -.7 inch

l bicep - .4

The calf measurement was interesting. Last year my calves troubled me. This year not so much. My left calf was .8 inches smaller and now is .4 inches bigger. There was some imbalance going on there.

I'm pretty stoked. The majority of the weight loss came since December.

Nice work. You can tell the difference in your picks. Those are some great measurement changes as well. Congratulations.

Got on the scale this morning, down 13 lbs. That should be all of the sympathy weight so now to knock about 15 more off before hunting season.

Monday night did upper body weights grudgingly....wasn't feeling it.
Tuesday morning did my Hill run. 2.4 miles up 1:10 faster than last time. 4.87 miles total

Combination of the the two has me feeling a little wore out, and at lunch, my HS Sophomore wants to go to the gym tonight!

Can't turn her down!

Fueling up with a big lunch of Mango, and Peach and Philly cheesesteak.

Markus you are making awesome progress man. Just know there are going to be plateaus and then BAM! you break through in a big way when you least expect it.

Do you have a goal event and date for your 5k?
