With a Half Marathon Coming up in April, I'm getting in my runs.

It has been tough sledding due to respiratory sickness, and slacking off since July of 2014. I am 30 pounds over my running weight.

Finally had a "good run" where I finished strong, and ran consistently this week.

2 Sundays ago I had a tough 10 miler with about 1900 feet of elevation gain.

Well time to get after it this morning. Incline bench, curls, front raises and tire drag five times. Then push ups, medicine ball lunges, and sledgehammering the tire for 3 rounds.

Ran a trail marathon on Saturday as a supported training run as I prepare for a 50 mile race coming up in April. Was supposed to run 10 miles on Sunday but made sure and got in at least 13.1 so I could say I did a marathon and a half. ;)

Ended up with 40 miles on Saturday and Sunday and just over 70 miles for the week.

This morning was squats/press, upright row, and sledge/tire.

Tomorrow morning is dumb bell bench, jumping jacks, push-ups, tricep extensions, throw downs and some other ab exercises I can't remember the name for.

Nobody else hitting the gym the last few days?

I have not been feeling good this week. Was going on Monday and just felt like C###. Thought I might hit my class today but no go. Hoping I feel good enough to go Friday - I feel like I am gaining weight and losing endurance just sitting here! Sucks!!!

Oh yea been going. Worked on legs and core yesterday. Trying to work on the legs a little more this year. Upping the weight a little every week to meet my goals. Already hit my goal on the leg press and just about there on the leg extensions. Will be doing arms tomorrow.

Think I have maxed out on the 3 sets of 10 on the leg press @310 and leg extensions @205. Feels good though and zero issues with the Knee or ankle. Think I will stay with these weights for a while and decide later if I want to up the weight. I really think the lunges with weight have really helped the knees. The calf machine has definitely helped the ankle. Rolling on!!

Ended up missing my scheduled run on Thursday due to work and banged out a little over a mile on the treadmill at the house just to keep my streak alive.

Ended this week with 66.2 miles with 20.5 on Saturday and 13.7 today. The 13.7 today was harder than I expected, temperatures are starting to move up here and it was 81 degrees and sunny when I finished my run this afternoon.

My running streak is up to 58 days and 483.1 miles for an average of 8.3 miles a day.

Here is today's workout, considering that I have primarily been lifting with cardio intervals I am happy. Now the climb up to six miles twice a week.
