Scott, Tire Flipping is good also as long as it is heavy enough. Usually tractor tires are not big enough, but can work.
Sounds like fun. I usually try to sling the sledge\maul when a chunk of wood needs reduce to fit into my burner. :)

Keep it up!

I lift 3 days a week and run/hike/bike 3 days a week. In 2015 I plan on running a full marathon, doing Spartan and maybe a tough mudder.

The weather here in Colorado hasn't gotten bad yet so I'm still able to get out and hike the mountains behind my house with my Lab & Golden. Also the Manitou Incline just opened back up after a few months of repairs ... gonna start hitting that again also.

This is what I did this morning, made the intervals a bit longer. Will do the full distance next week and have 5 miles scheduled for Sunday's run. Could be interesting...

Good job Scott. I'm waiting till January to hit the gym on a normal basis. Too much other stuff going on to get in a routine now.
My goal and hope is that I can avoid putting on any extra weight this holiday season. I want to keep off what I lost last summer and fall and have that carry over should I draw a good tag or two this year.

Did shoulders this morning, was a good workout. Have a run planned for after church this evening depending on how the weather looks. Will do Insanity if weather still sucks.

Still pounding out my 40min on the treadmill. Started doing it with my pack on and 2 gallon jugs of water for weight. I just need to keep doing it and add a bit at a time.
My ortho doc recommended tia chi. It sounds crazy, but just standing there following the movements on the video as slow and smooth as they are, it can really work you.

I maintain as much as I can during the fall but end up missing a lot of workout days. I was fortunate to spend 30+ days in the field big game hunting this year between my tags and taking friends and family out. I am back on a 6 day a week schedule. I do 4 days of weight lifting plus 1 day of body pump or insanity. I also make sure I run 3-5 miles 3 times a week. As the summer gets close I start to ramp up my running so am ready for the 10,000' high country. I am already ecstatic about next season!

Sounds solid! I too am looking forward to next year even though I am still doing some late season bow hunting here in Ohio.
