Finally decided to try and jump back on the running wagon after being off since August. I've decided to do the couch25K program again till I get my body back used to running cause I can a major difference between elliptical and outdoor runs.

Today and next weeks runs are actually week two on there program run 1.5 minutes walk 2 mins. Do that for 20 mins according to program I did for 22.5 minutes to get an extra run lap in. Definitely tell I'm out of shape for this and need to work back into it slow.

gels have worked well for me for years, especially for calorie intake during high aerobic activities. Wether a small snickers or gel packet is better before each load of meat out on a backpack is debabtle though.

I prefer the gu brand, they have some that are not necessarily as sweet as others.
