Marcus, no worries. You're doing fine. The fact it bothers you just shows that you HAVE turned the corner and are a new man. It takes time to get there. 1 day at a time.
Nice workout to boot! :)

Monday: Trying out new shoes. Hokas. I ran alone as I used to do a lot. The training with the local running club sure is making a difference. I was only giving 50-75% effort at times and focused on the breaking in the new shoes and had a near personal best on the old course.

I'm finally climbing back on. I have a 4 species hunt planned for this fall so figured I had better be in great shape to enjoy it. Down 31 pounds since the first of the year.

Worked pretty good today at orangetheory. Power walked 12% incline at 4 mph for 1 mile. Lots of rowing...28 seconds for 200m, 36 sec for 250m, 1:28 500m and forgot 750m times. still can't break the 700watts! Maxed it at 682. Also did squat jumps, pop jacks, front squats, reverse lunges, deadlifts, upright rows, shoulder press, and 6 ab exercises. Spent 21 minutes of the 60 above 84% max HR.

Long work day so short workout but I want to be sure to do something, no matter how minor on every planned W/O day.

Incline Bench: after warm up I worked up to 225lb x 6 x 3

Took a vacation day yesterday to catch some powder skiing at Alta. A little sore today so at least I was skiing hard haha If it's similar to last time my next run will suck because my legs will feel like they're each 300lbs.

Have been hitting the gym in my office building over lunch for the last 2 years, also trying to get 100 pushups in every night no matter what. Went to a motivational workshop called "Corporate Athlete" 2 yrs ago and it really made me change a few things in my life.

To prepare for DIY hunt in Eastern Montant this fall with my boys, I have told them we will start walking until they both can do a 10 mile walk. We will start shorter and gradually work our way up. I am planning on wearing a backpack with some weight, but not the boys they are only 7 and 9. I think having a goal like this will help them get prepared, also mentally and will be a good test and break-in for equipment like boots.

I have been the model of consistency lately. Just haven't been posting them up here, sorry guys.

With the cold spell I was stuck in the basement rather than my garage. Lots of push ups, DB work and some kettle bell work.

Pretty happy with my result for it being 14 degrees at the start and not too much training. I hadn't ran over 4 miles before this.
