Well, I haven't been around too terribly long, but I figure I'll introduce myself anyway. My name is Travis and I am from the panhandle of Texas originally, lived in South Dakota for almost 5 years, and am now living in Hutchinson, Kansas. I work for an agriculture company and have worked on a farm all my life. I started getting into western hunting with my grandpa who lived in NW NM by Farmington. I remember shooting coyotes, jack rabbits, and prairie dogs and tagging allong with him for elk and mule deer. I have only been "western" hunting in South Dakota for mule deer about 3 years now and went last year in Kansas after the move. I can honestly say this forum has pushed me to start doing DIY hunts and I have learned a ton so far. P.S. Can anyone give me their honey hole yet? Maybe if I say Please?

No problem! Well I wont give ya mine but Ill tell ya how to get your own! Get yourself a 1 foot long piece of 2x4. get a drill and a 1/2'' bit and drill 4, 1'' deep holes in it. Fill them all up with honey. You will have 4 honey holes

My name is Clayton Cox, I live in western Ks and farm. I enjoy archery hunting elk, deer, turkeys, pigs, anything. My most favorite is by far elk, and most days would rather be setting on a mountainside waiting for the next bugle than anywhere. I also enjoy fishing and am looking forward to spring for the walleyes to start up. I grew up hunting with my dad and brother and still do a lot of hunting with them. I am now married and my wife goes along on as many hunting trips as she can.

My name is Scott AKA Milehigh. I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I've hunted in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Colorado. Harvested my first elk in norther New Mexico on the Vermejo Ranch. A few years back I laid down my rifles, picked up a bow and havent looked back. I've been in the military for 13 years. Thats me in a nut shell.
