All great ideas..... Omaha steaks would be easy, as would chocolates.

"Who doesn't like chocolate"

Believe it or not....me!! Never have. Especially chocolate cake and ice cream. I can handle it in a peanut butter cup in extreme moderation. But yea....99.9% would like chocolate. Thanks!

Ha ha..believe it or not, my wife doesn't like chocolate either (milk chocolate), but she's good with dark chocolate.

My father in law let some guys waterfowl hunt on him and they sent some fruit from Harry and David, and they also brought a bottle of Kentucky's finest with them. It was all very appreciated.

What about giving gifts to landowners that charge a trespass fee? Im a little indifferent in this, you are already paying them to hunt. Maybe if your experience is exceptional you should, kinda like giving a tip for a guided hunt? I can see where a box of chocolates or cured meat around the holidays would do good, fairly cheap and hopefully the landowner would take that to heart and continue to give you first dibs on securing the trespass for future years.

Ummm, that's a tough one. Its almost as if they have already chose their end item. Being cash. But I'd probably still "gift" them something if they were generally nice people and accommodating. It wouldn't be as nice as something I'd give for free access though. Good question for sure. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I just bring fresh caught red snapper and grouper caught the day I leave. They sell it an hour away from where I live. The Nebraska and Wyoming seafood selection is "limited" at best. It's been a big hit with everyone so far. Gator meat and pecans were well accepted as well. I suggest taking something fresh from your region that might be limited at your destination.

Dad and I got a landowner a gift card to the local farm and ranch store. We figures it would definitely go to use for something.

Offer then follow through or take a long 3 day weekend to fix fence, pound posts, shovel horse shit, chop/stack fire wood - or any other job they would just as not do will get you further than a steak or bottle of scotch any day!
