I was prepared for 110 degrees, but unbelievably it hardly got above 80 while we were there. It had rained 8" the week before, so it was still muggy. But it wasn't bad at all. We were really blessed.

I really debated about a full body mount. I hated to not have it done, but I really don't have room for one. I sure didn't want to have to add on a trophy room to the house just to have a place to put it. :D But I sure didn't want just a regular shoulder mount either. This was my "best of both worlds" idea. Jerry really did a great job on it. I think I actually like it better than a full body mount anyway.
I think you made a great choices, starting with the ram you decided to shoot, the taxidermist you chose to mount it and the style of mount. You are very fortunate! Your taxidermist is a true artist!

Thanks, y'all. I'm enjoy having the mount in my office very day. Oh, and Jerry sent me a text a couple days ago. He has been invited to take the mount to the world taxidermy show next May. I guess I'll let him borrow it one more time. :D
