I dont golf and I dont play tennis. There is nothing in the store for me. I haven't stepped foot in one in 20 years.

My sister used to work for the Dicks corporate office in Pittsburgh 15 years ago and got some great coupons from them. I never got anything out of the deal though....My sister also voted for Obama twice and Hillary. We dont talk much. Just throwing that out there.

I’ve never been to a Dicks before. They built one here in Reno a year or so ago but have never been. I’ll stick to Sportsman’s.

Dicks sucks a big... Well, You know! Never a reason to go there anyway, way overpriced on everything anyway. Went in to one a few years ago to buy son baseball stuff and I felt like I needed to tuck in my shirt and buy a collard shirt with a sweater wrapped around my shoulders while sipping on Starbucks.

I went into A Dick's sporting goods in Idaho. I picked out Savage bolt action varmint rifle, they refused to sell it to me because I'm from Alaska "store policy". I walked 100 yards to the Sportsman's Warehouse and bought one there instead! They lost me as a customer for sure.

I understand your frustration. Try not being from Alaska and buying a gun in Alaska. LOL I know because I tried and failed.

Are all of you guys also boycotting Walmart? Because they stopped selling assault rifles in 2015.
I don't shop at Dick's because they are like a golf and tennis store that decided to put in a gun counter as an afterthought.

If a 20 year old kid wanted to make a name for himself all he would need to do is to walk into a Dick's and try to purchase a rifle. Then when they refused to sell it to him all he would need to do is to find a blood sucker (lawyer) and file a age discrimination suit against them since federal law says he only needs to be 18.

It would be no different than a baker refusing to sell a wedding cake to a gay couple.

I never think of Walmart as a "sporting goods" store. That said, I rarely, if ever, shop at one.

Aren't they just doing what Trump has already pushed for?

I doubt I would ever have bought a firearm from dick's in the first place, so, doesn't matter to me.

Just throwing it out there, what if you needed a last minute purchase of broadheads, a release, box of ammo before your hunt? Or a pack of hooks, weights, or a pair of cleats before your kids baseball game? And, there just so happens to be nothing in your neck of the woods that has those items? The store serves its purpose in those cases whether I agree With their stance or not. My hunt, my fishing trip with my boy and his baseball game are more important to me than trying to make a stance. I dont Have the luxury of bass pro which is an hour away, sportsmans which is a few states away etc....dicks will do. Whether their dicks or not:)
