Condemning AR?s and AK?s saying us lowly peasants ?don?t need? them. It?s not that which bothers me, considering everyone is allowed an opinion, even if it is borderline retarded. What really irritated me is how he spoke to a fan who told king chipper he didn?t agree with him. Chipper called the guy a lazy hunter because he uses an AR to hunt hogs instead of a bow.

this is why lefties will eventually succeed and get our guns.

there can be no argument that libs are silly ,ignorant, fools BUT there are plenty gun owners and hunters who are also.
"chipper" falls in that category.

Read this AM that a 20 year old who tried to purchase a .22 rifle from F & S and was turned down is suing them for age discrimination. I knew it would only be a matter of time.
I think the judge will throw the case out. If they decided to make that their store policy that is their right. It's no different than stores with signs on the door that say "no shoes, no shirt, no service."
Another sign I see sometimes says "no more than 3 students inside at one time."
These 2 groups pf people are being discriminated against. There have been no lawsuits.

If Dick's can discriminate simply because of setting a "store policy", then why pray tell can a bakery not have a policy to not bake cakes for lesbian or gay couples?

Because its ok for the left wings to do whatever they want, but the right wings are "racist, white priveleged devils". Its not only guns they are after I believe.

Shirtless and shoeless people and students are not protected classes of people. Race, color, national origin, sex, and religion are protected under the Civil Rights act of 1964. I don't know about age???

Because our country has lost it's values. This 100% should have been tossed out based on the 1st amendment.

Age is a protected class with exceptions (think 55+ communities), but I've read that Oregon law specifically states it's protected at 18... If that's the case, the lawsuit may have a shot.

A place of public accommodation is defined in state law as any place that offers the public accommodations, advantages, facilities or privileges, whether in the nature of goods, services, lodging, amusements or otherwise. It is illegal to discriminate in places of public accommodation on the basis of race, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, national origin, religion, marital status, physical or mental disability, or age (18 years of age and older).

Also the vast majority of Dick's business is from the ball sports that all the kids buy. Have you ever noticed that the firearm section takes up a very little area in their stores, and usually there is only one person behind the counter. That is when you can find one behind the firearm counter.

refuse to do business with them. If they want to sell guns, they should sell AR's to. besides, assault style weapons means automatic which are illegal anyway.

It may be small to them but the baseball and football organization that my wife and I help run have moved all of our business from Dick's to Scheels. We used to spend 2-3k per year with them. Hopefully more people jump on the bandwagon.

Congratulations! I hope more sports groups will do the same thing.
