Binoculars, what goes to the field with you?

I bought a pair of Sworovski EL 10x42 four yrs ago. After the purchase I had that guilty buyers remorse on the way home haha. First day in the field with them and that all went away! Best binos I have ever had. Love em!

BB how do the 8x32 and 10x42 EL's compare? I really like my 10x42 EL's but the 8x32 looks interesting because they are lighter and smaller.
They compare quite favorably. The 8X32s have better CA correction, and a wider FOV than the bigger 10x42s (this is in regards to non-SV models). The 8x32s can be found used for pretty good deals with the release of the SV versions.

I'm packing Swarovski EL 10x32 Swarovisions and love them. I have had old style Swaro 10x42 slc's, Zeiss victory 10x32 fl's, old style EL 10x42's and now these 10x32's. No more changing binos......

I stepped it up this season to the 12x50 razor hd's still getting used to them with a rapid heart beat. I'll be keeping the tripod close by for longer sessions for sure.

Swaros in slc 10-42. I love them and have converted many to them. I also carry a Leica 1600 ranger finder and I love it.

I will have different ones next season. Traded my 8x56 Zeiss in on Leica 10x42 Geovid HD-B bino/rangefinder combo. Today I made a deal to trade my 10x42 Zeiss in for 15x56 Swaro SLC's. The Zeiss were darn good binos, but the Leicas are better optically to my eyes and I wanted the built in rangefinder. I also have a Nikon ED50 and Swaro ATS 20-60x80 so I'm done upgrading optics for a while! Lots of money, but I don't regret buying any of them as long as I don't have to do it again for a decade or so.

Swarovski 10X42s always have them with me. I have owned them for over twenty years or so.

Zeiss Classic 8x30b still love them, but been looking to upgrade to the Zeiss Victory's 10x42 just haven't found a used pair for the right price.
