I just got back from 8 days in Wyoming. I harvested 2 antelope does and this buck in the first three days- had a little R&R the rest of the trip. All DIY on public land.

I posted this on another thread but I'm proud of these kids I was able to take hunting this year in the same area.
This is Chris's first buck. We worked within a good shooting range and he he made a great shot.

My Western Wyoming High Country Buck
Finally got my chance to hunt G this year. Took a chance and burnt my points despite the bad winter from last year. I was happy with the outcome. G definitely lives up to its reputation of steep country and unpredictable weather. Hope to make it back again some day.

I tried out a couple of new areas in Utah on my general deer hunt with very little being seen. It was some great country but in 4 days all I saw was 4 small bucks both before and during the hunt.
Headed into a old area and decided to pop this guy for a meat buck for my nephew and his family. He is a nice little 3x3 with warts or cysts on him. He had one on his forhead and chin along with quite a few on his belly.
