congrats! very likely he learned more that will be useful to him in life, on the hunt then he ever could have in school.
I was working around Upton all day yesterday, the deer were out in full force yesterday, they seemed to be everywhere. Picked a great day to take him out, congratulations!
Hunting is always a good excuse to take the kids out of school. Great buck.
Bump this one up to keep this thread moving. I hear season is open in a lot of Montana and Idaho...

Took this guy at 407 yards with the 6.5x284 Norma, on Halloween in Eastern Montana!

My wife drew her first mule deer permit this year- hopefully I'll be able to add her deer to this thread Monday. Nebraska rifle season opens Saturday...
