My dad applied for a general tag with one pp and it appears he didn't draw so he'll buy another point and draw next year, which is going to be kick ass to have him out and hunt with him, but back to the question when you apply for a NR tag do you have to check somewhere that you want to use your pp or if you have them do you automatically use them? Before I moved to Wyoming I never used pp so I have no clue. Just want to make site he's doing it right next year if he didn't do it right this year.

Your points will automatically be used if your dad would draw his first choice on the application. I'm pretty certain that he wouldn't lose his points if he put a high point LQ unit as the first choice and put general tag as second choice.

LE UNIT tag. From my calculations drew it with 2 points total among 4 applicants for an average of .5 pts.

Must have been in the Random pool...

Won't be long until we get new threads with the person's first post being "Hey everybody, I just drew a unit 7 tag with 0 points. I know nothing about the unit and am looking for some help on where to go hunt. Thanks everybody!" Maybe we should start a pool and see who can guess the closest date/time that we get that first thread!

Not looking for anyone's honey hole but could someone give me some starting points? I'm in pretty good shape and willing to hike far.

Aren't you the one who says your spot is in Unit .... by the big tree next to the rock or something like that? :)
I am still hanging around hoping for the same type of info.

Ha ha, actually I think that's my friend, but you're pretty close. I am a lot nicer in PMs, and if you ask me about a unit I don't plan to hunt again, I'll spill the beans. :)
