    Bipod or Shooting Stick

I run the Caldwell carbon fiber bipods. I was in the same boat as you and hunted with a shooting stick and it worked well but I would rather use bipods over the sticks as I tend to sit more. They aren’t crazy expensive and light weight

Another article on Wyoming's tough winter

Thanks for the feed back. Was just curious after reading that article. I’ve seen some stuff online with guys feeding in Utah this year

Another article on Wyoming's tough winter

Why hasn’t the fish and game tried implementing some sort of emergency feeding for these critters? Are they worried about spreading cwd? Just curious.

    Trapping and kids

Great to see kids out trapping👍It’s very rewarding when you show up to a set to see something in it. I started trapping 10 years ago and have learned a lot since.

    Avian Flu

Went down to the in-laws for Christmas in South Dakota and saw thousands of dead snows froze into the lakes. Was also a pile of dead ones in the ditch and on the side of the road. Sounded like they were falling out of the sky. Wish I would have taken a picture.

    Recommended Day Pack

I’ll second Scott on the vapor 2500. Very light weight and works well with their f1 mainframe.

    NW Nebraska Help Please

I’ve hunted deer down there. This was about 10 plus years ago. Ended up staying at fort Robinson. They had nice cabins there to stay in and were very reasonably priced at the time.

    2022 Fishing thread

Had the wheelhouse out yesterday in -10 and 30 mph winds ended up with a few walleye and sauger. Fish house was blown in pretty good. Took a little work to break the drift up and get out of that mess. Was worth it though

    Utah Outlaws All Trail Cameras

I guess I run a few cell cams on private land I have permission for and I have yet to kill some of the nicer ones I have pictures of. I hunt public too that they are not allowed on and I would almost rather hunt that way and put some eyes on deer instead of eyes on phone. I like the guess work...

    Missing park ranger since 1980

If your into mysteries the missing 411 hunter edition is a pretty good watch. A ex police officer investigates missing people on our nations public lands. A few of the stories I didn’t care for but it definitely makes you rethink about being in the back country

    Trail Cams

Just started running the tactacam cell cams last year. Had really good luck with them so far. Battery life has been good and takes decent pictures. Plans are 13 a month a cam for unlimited photos. Saves on fuel and limits the amount of scent and disturbance you cause when checking a normal cam.

Warmest socks or boots for cold weather sits

What has anyone found or used out there for the warmest socks or boots. Been putting in long hours in the bow stand with windchills down to -10 and everything is warm besides my feet. Dang I hate having frozen toes. I run a pair of sorels with Duluth trading post heavy socks. Also been using my...

    Sitka cold weather gear

I run the Sitka fanatic bibs and jacket. I absolutely love them. Just remember if you use a scent crusher bag do not put the bibs in there with the elastic suspenders. It will eat them up very quick
