I find it amazing the products that were built before CAD took over. When it was still McDonnell Douglas i used to travel to long beach California in support of the md80 and md95 programs. They had hangers full of paper in support of the programs. Some data packages were so big they had to be...

I haven't had good luck with trailer tires. We have a place here that sells used tires. They get them from wrecked cars and sometimes they are almost brand new. I've had good luck. It's just a utility trailer rated at 3000 pounds so not that big.

The bill is nothing more than a way to hijack the current process so that more and more tags go to ranchers and outfitters who can then turn each tag into more and more money. It begins and ends with greed and screws the regular joe out of even more tags that should be available to the public...

My only gripe is subsidies paid out as access to permits and tags. Almost everyone is on the take, I claim mortgage interest on my taxes. Retirees rely on social security and medicare. All considered "welfare" programs by the feds. As the grandson of a dairy farmer I understand the...

Yeah. I get it. But the biggest cost for folks is not the price of the tag but the opportunity for the tag. I just dont think tags should be taken out of the pool of tags for special interest groups. Not a fan of auction tags either which allow the mega rich the opportunity to cut in line.

Ranchers and farmers are already the biggest welfare recipients by a very large margin, why do they need more handouts in the way of game permits? Ranchers and farmers are able to lease federal lands for pennies on the dollar, why do they need more handouts in the way of game permits? Ranchers...

Are there alot of turkeys at that elevation? I always assumed they were at lower elevations.

Gasping for breath for weeks until your oxygen levels get so low that you die doesn't sound like "luck" to me.

Arm was a little sore for about 24 hours. Happy to report I haven't heard from Bill Gates and haven't lost or added any appendages.

I just got back from getting my first shot. The national guard is doing the coordination at our regional convention center. I must say the experience was excellent. I was kinda expecting a shitshow. It was extremely well organized. Appointment was at 1:10pm and was out the door by 1:20.

I have several of Mike's books and they are all very good reads.

I shoot a Beretta eXtrema 2. Beretta has always made quality semi-auto shotguns and pistols.

Yep. Those guys from wisconsin could show them guys from idaho how it's done. :)

That looks amazing!

Thanks for getting the thread back on track. I should have specified that my kids will be 18 and 17. We want to make this trip special for my son who has been accepted into the university of illinois school of engineering. He really worked hard in high school and its paid off by getting into...
