I receive a Gerber with replaceable blades with my latest RMEF renewal. It has really heavy blades compared to my Havalon. Looking forward to trying it as well.

I was always amazed at the patience my dad had with a whetstone. I'm a works sharp man myself.

How about Coal.

This article has some information about the broken arrows: https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/17483/8-nuclear-weapons-us-has-lost

There is an organization that tracks nuclear weapons and they believe there are thousands, mostly from when the Soviet union collapsed.

I'll nerd out here. While there have been 32 "lost" that doesn't mean they don't know where they went. These incidents, called Broken Arrows, include nukes that went down in flight (nukes on airplanes, not missiles) or damaged. Many of the broken arrows happened during flight when aircraft...

Most of the big game animals I kill are whitetails. I have a wagon that I can normally pull up to a deer really close with my ATV. I take it back to the cabin where I will gut it and then I will immediately wash out with a hose and then hang on the deer pole. Dad was an steel mill iron...

I'd rather roll the dice on a US made vaccine than risk a virus that was developed by the chinese as a biological weapon. Like you say, it's a personal choice to vaccinate.

Had the second shot on Tuesday. Had a bad headache and fatigue on wednesday. Felt back to normal on thursday. Kids get their first vaccine today.

Does she even know sign language. The last democratic administration was hiring guys that just waved their hands around not having a clue as to actually knowing how to sign.

I think I'll go the electric route for a commuter car and get a gasser 3/4 ton eventually. Prices need to come down on the electric side. GM Ultium batteries look really promising in regards to mileage per charge. So good in fact that Honda is going to buy the chassis and batteries from GM...

I dont know. But I'm with you, seems odd that would be legal.

Heck yeah I'm interested in seeing g all your burbs!!

Hard to understand how someone could leave it in 4 low. That's like a granny gear in a Rubicon. I could see maybe 2-hi, but 4 low?

I have been fortunate during this pandemic because I can work from home for my job. I haven't been in the office in over a year. Without the 100 mile round trip drive to work its actually been a boost in disposable income (saving on gas, vehicle maintenance, etc). I wish the government would...

Sounds like your Dad might have got lucky on that hunt. :) Did he shoot a deer?

I'm old enough that during primary school the teachers were still allowed to give "swats". They usually deferred that to the principal who was about 6'2" and 250 pounds. He made the kids get in front of the class and bend over to touch their toes. He had a huge paddle that had 1 inch holes...

Probably the biggest reason i didn't become an engineer and changed to computer science was due to the horrible instructors in the physics and math departments. How can they be allowed to teach college level classes when they have a vocabulary of a first grader. I could at least understand all...

I use amazon prime mostly because I get it with a prime membership. They have some really good shows like jack ryan. Me and the kids are marvel fans so we use Disney plus alot. Wandavision is pretty good. Netflix is great for older television series, me and my daughter are currently working...
