Y ou could do it that way. Our FFL at the show is doing some that way, but it does cost extra.

    Gun Shows

The dealer/FFL holder at our show did not want to hold them for sure. I lost one sale to a guy in Moab because he didn't want to come back a week later to pick up the gun. I checked several website this morning for information about the background check and there did not seem to be any changes...

    Gun Shows

Guns Shows get a lot of bad press and criticism in the media. Every state has their own rules. My local shooting club here in SW Colorado puts on an annual gun show as a way to raise money to operate our club. This last weekend we held our 2021 show. It was a huge success and the club made over...

    Ammunition shortage

I have had Amblyopia (Lazy Eye) in my right eye since childhood. Wore glasses for awhile as a child and after it didn't help, quit wearing them. As an oldster, my good eye aged and I had to wear them again. Started wearing contacts about 10 years ago and absolutely love them. Wear them 24/7...

    Thanks. I'll definitely do that.

    Ammunition shortage

I still have plenty for my own needs. I have cut back my shooting too, but because of some other problems, not supply. Found out a week ago that I have a cataract in my one good eye. Going to have it fixed asap, but can't see well enough to shoot, everything pretty fuzzy. I thought I just needed...

    Ammunition shortage

All in all, a very good gun show. We had more attendance that ever. This was the 15th one our club has done and we might do another in August. I personally did well. Sold a lot of stuff I wasn't using anymore and didn't need.

    Ammunition shortage

I too, was short of small pistol as I shoot a lot more .38's than I thought when I bought my last primers. I did do a trade at the show for some small pistol primers. I will be set for awhile now.

    Ammunition shortage

The only problem I saw was an extended wait for background checks. It looks like it could be 5 to 7 days. Definately a hardship for those who traveled longer distances to come to the show. A local dealer is doing all the checks and if a buyer has not cleared by the end of the show, the guns...

    Ammunition shortage

I dropped my price on primers, I just couldn't sell them at $150.00 knowing what I paid for them. I sold them for !00.00 per brick . but kept the posted price at 150.00 to keep the other dealers from buying them and reselling them later for more. Sold them to shooters not dealers. I still made a...

Leupold Spotting Scope / Eyeware Giveaway!

Mule Deer for sure. I've hunted them for 67 years and hope to hunt them till the day I die!

    Ammunition shortage

Our shooting club has it's yearly gun show starting tomorrow and over the weekend. I'll get a good idea what's out there. I'm selling primers for $150.00 per brick (1,000).

    WGFD Proposed Changes

I really think both. Fewer hunters and more animals. At least in the area I hunted. I only hunted a small part of Wyoming so I can't say for the rest of the state.

    Colorado 21 quota changes

To bad they don't break the quotas down to the season level instead of just all the rifle season lumped together.

    WGFD Proposed Changes

That's a fact! When I first started hunting Wyoming 50 years ago, you could buy type 6 doe/fawn antelope & deer tags over the counter in lots of retail stores statewide. If I remember correctly, we could buy up to 6 type 6 tags for deer AND antelope for $5.00 or $6.00 bucks. That is addition...

    Bear Gun?

Usually just my rifle, except if I'm in Griz country. When I went on a Thorofare Hunt, I carried bear spray and a S & W .44 mag.

    Thoughts on Suppressors for Hunting?

Not for me. Pretty ugly and I really have a problem with the feds and their rules on suppressors.

    Muley or cross with whitetail?

I remember reading something about mixed breeding a few years back. If I remember correctly, other than tissue/DNA sampling, the biologists look at the musk glands on the rear legs. Seems like I remember them writing that the glands are different from both breeds.
