    The 40 Acres

Thats a 40'X9'X8' delivered for $2200. You wont find one cheaper than that around these parts. I can sell it easily after the fact or as I told my wife I could build a wood drying kiln. You know, because I need one. lol A storage locker costs 1500 for 9 months....no thanks. I had $650 for the...

    The 40 Acres

Shes a worker for sure. Hope I never have to fight her...lol PEX would have cost me 1500$ and most people down here use schedule 40 PVC. I opted for the 1" because it is such a long distance (1100' to the proposed house). I had some pretty serious bad luck with black pipe over the years running...

    The 40 Acres

And so it begins....1000' of waterline. And yes, that took a full day and no I couldn't find a ride on to rent.... Plus my wife's uncles duramax caught on fire and burned to the ground....Heater core wire shortage is our guess. Then my dog stepped on a piece of glass and had to go...

    Learning Curves of Bowhunting

Learning when to draw my bow. I learned a long time ago to draw my bow and hold it if I have to. If you wait to draw your bow too late 90% of the time you will regret it because when an animal is in the "Eminent range" your odds in getting busted are about 6000000X greater.... Learned this...

Hi Mountain Seasonings “Bacon Bundle Giveaway”

I always wanted to make my own deer bacon. I hear its pretty easy with a bunch of ground meat and some fat and then you just cook it like a sheet cake and run it through a slicer. Anyone else every try this? I watched a video a couple years ago a guy had posted and he did it.

    Motorized Hunting Pack Cart

I would tip that sucker over in the first 5 minutes of using it, probably bend the wheel then end up kicking the $hit out of it in a fit of range knowing I was now going to have to carry that out as well...lol I wheel barrowed a few hogs out one time. It was miserable. At the time I rember...

    Quietkat E-Bike Giveaway

Personally I think that the biggest fear of e-bikes of the illegal use of e-bikes. Having said that, being quiet and less intrusive to the terrain makes them very attractive to hunters and outdoor recreationists. Also an advantage of it would be that you dont have to tow it around on a...

    7MM - IMR 4064

Once again. This "old school" powder is proving its worth on my reloading shelf. Put a new Leupold scope on his Steyr rifle for him. Good enough for me at 100 yards. Certainly good enough for my wife's uncle who never shoots over 200 yards anyhow. Group on left was out of a Steyr 7MM Group on...
