Just ban ‘em completely. They are becoming a crutch and an excuse not to scout. Put your boots on the ground and find out what’s out there yourself. Enter the animal’s domain and do your best to defeat him one on one. That’s really what hunting is all about when done right.

If we could hunt them quite a bit (like in Alaska) they would fear people and stay away a lot more resulting in fewer attacks. Unfortunately that probably isn’t going to be permitted anywhere in the lower 48 any time soon.
