My 14yo daughter so far has received unsuccessful emails for bear and Antelope this morning. Nothing on deer or elk yet

Youths have priority in the secondary draw so they should be doing them first.

My 14yo daughter pulled a Gunnison basin 2nd rifle buck tag today - she is walking on cloud 9 at the moment. Works out perfect because I was already planning on hunting that unit & season for otc elk.

Looks like I also struck out.

First time in 26 years that Colorado has had a draw on deer tags that I didn't draw something. I'll be surfing the tags that get turned back in it looks like.

It sucks but I'll be hunting deer. It is going to depend on just where I find a tag. If nothing else there should be some archery tags out there. I haven't archery hunted in10 years but you have to do what you have to do if you want to hunt.

Well.....luck seems to be running out this year. Still have the leftover to pick up something. Taking in another 1st timer this year with a muzzle cow tag.
I shouldnt complain as we go to AK for caribou DIY this year.

My son picked up a 2nd season bull tag and an antelope buck tag.

We’ve got a busy fall ahead of us.

We got doe pronghorn to go with our buck pronghorn tags.

CP&W added insult to injury yesterday by sending me a email asking if I had paid for my tag that I drew.

They like rubbing it in, I wish that I had drawn a tag.

Youth cleaned up most of the good tags. As to be expected since they had preference. Glad I didn't waste my time applying.
