The sad thing is that Remington as we knew ceased to exist years ago.

I do have a case length guage and measure my brass probably every 8 to 10 reloads. The only time I do measure after every load is my .220 AI Swift. It hummms along at over 4,000 fps and I usually have to trim the brass after 4 or 5 loads.

Spot on. Another question is have the brass been run thru the sizer die? I usually trip after they have been sized because they can move some after sizing.

My wife and I went for a drive this morning to see the fall colors. They are at their peak right now in our local San Juan Mt.s about 25 miles from home (Colorado hunting unit 711). Sure are beautiful!

One other thing to remember..... Archery season has been on for several weeks and the elk have been pushed.

Generally M/L and Archery are always warmer than the rifle seasons. The last couple of years, our monsoons have pretty much fizzled out which makes it warmer. No way of really predicting what the weather will be when you have to apply for the tags....just luck. You have to adjust your tactics to...

My 1999 had over 300,000 miles on it and we were planning a trip to Alaska and I wanted something newer with less miles on it. Bought a used 2014 F350 in 2016 and it had the tailgate ladder on it. Probably never by another truck unless something happens like a wreck or someone steals it!

I have a 2' x 4' folding table that I use. I set it up in the bed of my truck and use a folding camping chair. I like this method because it gets you above ground level and brush and other things that could be obstructions. I gives you more shooting area possibilities.
