    Antelope Unit 79-791 Information

If you are used to hunting goats in Wyoming, you will find out that in the southwestern part of Colorado, it is totally different. Most of the units have low populations and not too many tags. It usually requires a lot of boots on the ground to find the best areas. I scouted for 3 years before I...

Boom time or Doom time where you live?

Went to my local booze emporium yesterday to buy a bottle of Baileys (my wife makes a killer cheesecake with it). Last time (3 months ago) I bought a bottle it was 21.00 & change, yesterday 30.00 and change....yikes! Other than gasoline/diesel, prices have gone up on almost everything...

    Wait Times...

My buddy used a 30-06 with a 150 gr bullet, the deer was hit behind the shoulder and never went down on bullet impact. It took off running...

    Your Biggest Buck

Got him in D7 in the backcountry, what is now called the Ansel Adams Wilderness. Most of the deer in the garage were taken there also. I hunted it until I retired in 2000 and moved to Colorado.

    Your Biggest Buck

I killed my first Mulie in 1953 when I was 12 years old. I have shot a ton of them since then. I usually didn't carry a camera with me as they were too damn heavy and bulky. I have a few pictures in my album here. The one I am holding is 30" wide, 6x4 and was shot in the High Sierras in...
