How many of you older guys have thought about how you look at hunting opportunities? I am 80 (will be 81 in a few months) and a few years ago I realized that some of the really great areas I have hunted, I'll never be able to hunt them again. Some of my best areas in Wyoming and Colorado now...

Nice. I tried to do scrimshaw many years ago and I tried some deer antler. It is really tough and hard. Gave up pretty quick. I also made some buttons from antler, They came out really nice. The problem is the center is marrow and really course and soft. Repeated washing the shirt they were on...

Just got back from the range. I installed the ballistic turret and shot at 200 yds. 1st shot right, adjusted and shot 2 more. Adjusted again and got 2 shots almost in the same hole. I also shot at 300 yds at 3 different clay birds (the ones that are used to shoot trap). They were painted hunter...

Yep got the 2nd season bull tag for Unit 61. Hope my hunting partner got his cow tag for the same hunt, need to call him.

Just checked after I got back from my morning walk......elk points have disappeared, I now have 0. Nothing else shows, but I must have got my unit 61 bull tag.
