    Headlamps

I use 2 different types. The ones I like best are the type that clip to your hat bill. I use 2 or 3 of them. Lots of light and really light weight. If I want lots of light, I use an LED type that straps around my head. They last longer, but are heavier.

Investments - what has served you well?

Like I said......depends on the company!

Investments - what has served you well?

I would say (as far as ESOP's are concerned), it depends on the company. I worked for a very large aerospace company (100,000+ employees) and it had several plans for employees to receive stock & stock options. Management bonus's were in stock options and I did quite well with them. They also...

    Fuel prices affect

The company I was working for many years ago (Rockwell International) had a division dedicated to Nuclear energy. They developed a fast breeder nuclear reactor. It made radioactive fuel as a by product of it's energy production. I believe nuclear power plants should be a big part of our energy...

    35 Whelen-Powders?

Actually my Wby uses 84 gr with a 180 gr bullet. I was just thinking of the heavier bullet normally takes slower burning powder.

    35 Whelen-Powders?

Havn't reloaded for the 35 Whelen, but large capacity, heavy bullets need slow burning powders. I use Reloader 25 in my .300 Wby, might be worth a look in the powder burn rate tables, along with others.

    Colorado Monsoons

Lots of thunder, lightning and rain last night! I was reluctant to believe the monsoons had started a month early, but looks like they have. Just hope they continue all summer. Last we we didn't get much rain all summer.

    Fuel prices affect

Politics aside, oil companies make tons of money no matter who is in charge, Republicans or Democrats. OPEC controls the the world wide supply, when they limit their production, the prices go up. We have enough oil here in the US to meet our demands, but they sell it for whatever the world price...

    Fuel prices affect

What I want to know is why the prices are so high. All the excuses aside, the price of crude oil is around $120/barrel and the price of diesel is around $5.50/gal. The last time crude was $120 a little over a year ago, the price of diesel was more than a $1.00 LESS a gallon.! Oil companies...

    Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there. My Dad was my mentor, my best friend and my shining example of what a father should be. He raised 4 kids and was married to my Mother for 62 years. He took his last big game animal at 90 hunting with me here in Colorado. RIP Dad....see you again one day.

    WY Draw Odds & Numbers

I too looked at the 2022 stats and and come to the conclusion that I might never draw a NR tag my favorite antelope unit again, I have hunted it as a non resident for over 40 years. I hunted it 3 years ago, so I have just started to get points again. If point creep and the 90/10 rule comes to...
