Best of luck !!

I shot my Spring Bear this year with Berger's 195gr EOL Elite-Hunter in 28 Nosler. The boar weighted about 350lbs and was 200 yards away broadside. One shot through he heart and he literally dropped straight down in his tracks, never moved.

I live in Cascade, near Colorado Springs … a little over 100 miles southeast of unit 18. It's been a fairly wet summer here … in fact things are still green which is unusual for August. I haven't heard about any fires near unit 18. Maybe someone who lives closer can confirm.

Very nice. I have their 12x50s and I like them a lot … but your new ones will definitely be easier to carry.

I used a straight spotter for years but recently made the switch to angled. The angled version seems to work much better for most hunting scenarios … just maybe not road hunting.;)
