    Eclipse

Watched from jobsite, it was pretty cool but not that big of deal for me. I get way more pleasure watching sunrises during hunting season.

Hope that don't happen to you MM! It did me on my elk hunt this year, injector went out 8 hrs from home. 248,000 miles on mine. Messed up the last 3 days of my hunt and ended up costing me nearly $3000 total. Hurt like hell, still licking my wounds.

    Applications in

Zim, you could hunt elk in Oregon every year if you wanted while you build points. There are OTC units in nearly every unit in the state. I've never drew a Mt Emily tag but I have killed some OK Oregon Bulls. You could hunt where I killed these?

    Huntin Rigs

I love the old Bronco too. I bought a new elk tent this year! Having 3 girls make you a softy. I do still like the classic wall tent when I go with the guys. I only have my '01 F350 right now for a hunting rig. It's big as hell and rides like a buckboard wagon. I sure miss my '98 Chevy...

    Time for a bigger pack.

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a bigger pack. I haven't spent a lot of time searching yet but at first glance I notice that there are tons of options. I am not dead set on a hunting driven pack, it looks like there are some very similarly built packs out there that are not necessary focused on...

I first started hunting elk in this area in 1990 even then seeing elk here was a rare occasion. It wasn't because there are no elk, just few and far between. Fast forward 19 years 2009, I decided that it was time to go all in. I know there are elk here I'm just not doing something right. I went...

    She finally got one!

After many, many miles over the last two seasons my youngest daughter connected this morning. I was leaving it up the her if she even wanted to hunt this year since she hasn't has a shot opportunity the last two season, but she said "I'm not giving up that easy", Atta girl! So she, the wife and...
