Well in my spare time I've been working on the girl's Blazer. We rebuilt the engine, installed last weekend and fired it up yesterday. Paint is next in the "to do" list.

Well I didn't apply for my rifle Mule deer hunt this year thinking the September 28th opener was a little early, boy was I WRONG! The weather this year was absolutely perfect for my style of hunting and I didn't apply for the rifle season, what a dumb azz. There have been some very nice bucks...

I just wanted to share a couple sunrise pics from my recent Antelope hunt in Oregon. The girl in tha pics is my 15 year old step-daughter who was with me for 5 of the 7 days hunted, she was a blast to have along on the hunt. I thought this was a once in a lifetime shot of her.

Well the hunt is over, it was a 7 day grind with only 5 bucks spotted. I ended up with the second best buck I found.

It's 97 degrees, just got off work, it's Friday, tomorrow is my birthday and Sunday our anniversary! Time for a few of these!!!

My step daughters inherited this yesterday. Looks like we have a new project ! I have to admit, I'm a little jelouse. I've always wanted a '72 Blazer. Maybe they will let me cruise it around now and then?? P.S. Anyone have a grill and bumpers laying around ??

Is it 5 o'clock yet? Damn its only Monday! Its going to be a Looong week.

I think the garage is getting out of control, its time to organize it again. How organized is yours?

Oregon forum has been pretty dang slow lately. I thought I would see who else is planning on hunting in Oregon besides myself. I should draw my antelope hunt after 15 years of applying, and hope my youngest daugter draws the rifle hunt I put her in for. Other than that I will likely be bow...

OK Old Hunter, here's one more for ya. There's just something about a cute gal in camo! I know, I'm one "Lucky Dog"!! By the way, that's CJ as a pup. X-Mas '11, 1 day after we brought him home. The girls thought he was a pretty cool X-mas present.

I've been dignosed with a bulging disc in my lower back. I have been dealing with the issue since early February, back pain, numbness and pain in my left hip to my toes. I had a Steroid Injection exactly one week ago and haven't had good reults yet. Dr said to give it more time and take it easy...

It appears that there may be a change in '14 for Rocky Mt Bighorn for non-residents. ODFW is planning on changing the unit from Snake River to Lookout Mt in '14. They are also adding one more California Bighorn. '13 sheep tag proposals and '14 regulatory concepts...

I may try the barns too. I will also try to get that bullet in and see what they say. [
