Finished my 9 week Flat Bench program and also strained a pec muscle. However things seem better today so I got another chest workout in after 7 days off of any chest workouts. I started an incline cycle that will run 6-8 weeks.
Today I worked out early and started light by doing the following:
Incline Bench
Pushups
EZ Curls
Seated D/B Curls
Traps
Abs

Put a little more weight on the squat rack, did a few reps at 315 and it didn't feel horrible so that's a plus.

Been back at it since after Christmas... same old ass body but a new focus.

Monday-Friday = am YOGA for thirty minutes - feeling more limber with better balance

Monday, Wed., Fri. = Lunchtime treadmill: 30 minutes with 65lb pack at 100% incline as fast as I can - will switch to stadium stairs when it gets warmer.

Tuesday = Push day - Bench, Squat, Overhead Press w/various isolation exercises thrown in at the end = 30/45 minutes max!
Thursday = Pull day - Pullups, Deadlift, Bent BB Rows, Hang Cleans, w/isolation exercises at the end = 30/45 minutes max!

I'm still fatter than I'd like but feeling strong, flexible and capable... planning to ramp up real world hunting cardio over the spring and summer as the mountains thaw out and I can spend time in the high country.

How close are you Pittsburgh? I've heard there are some nice bike trails around the city.

(I assume you were talking about a stationary bike in your w/o tonight)

Im 2.5hrs north of The Burgh’. Yea i just got off the stationary, we still have 4-5” of ice and snow unfortunatly. I belong to a 6600 acre lease that has some great mountain biking if this crap ever goes away.

This might be the most beneficial thread in the whole forum. I havent paid much attention to it in the past, but told myself after this years hunt (2018) I would be in better shape for 2019. Did nothing from returning from our hunt in mid-november through the new year. Jan 1 rolled around, wife and I started a diet/workout commitment. Lost 20 pounds in 6 weeks while working out 3 days a week and eating better, before leaving on vacation. Back on the train now with the mentality to maintain weight and gain strength and stamina for the rest of the year in preparation for another November hunt. Thanks to all who post their workouts!

Tough time of year in Nebraska right now. We have about 12-18" of snow on the ground with multiple ice layers. I have taken my dog on some snow hikes when the temp has been halfway decent but those days have been few and far between. I'm so ready for spring... my legs need to stretch!
