Are they out yet? I’m getting pretty stoked for the results. I’m also stoked for my backup plan if’n it doesn’t go my way in the draw :/

I know I won't draw in the PP part of the draw but I hope to beat the odds in the random draw. Good luck to everyone who applied unless you applied in my unit. :p

My surefire plan to survive the WY January draw worked perfectly this year. I shot a 6x6 on a guided hunt in Oct., and filled my type 6 tag on January 17th. I burned a lot of bridges this year with 44 days of western hunting (inc. driving time), so I am going to fulfill all of my wife's fantasies this year.....

You're not alone in bleeding the well of 'kitchen passes' last year !

I'm so thankful that I have a wife who likes to hunt... She doesn't always want to go along but she completely understands the trips I want to take yearly.

My wife is a country girl, so she's cool with it for the most part-especially if I come back with a cooler full of meat!

I get razzed pretty bad if I come home empty handed. [emoji6]

My wife and I dated through a hunting season in which I burned two weeks of vacation not including regularly scheduled days off. Two small children have made it harder but it has gotten better as we can now throw them in backpacks for family activities.

Same situation here. I'm interested to hear what you are using for a pack with your kids? How big are they? I need to figure out a better way... my wife and I carrying my daughter in our arms to the glassing points is getting harder and harder.

My wife's fantasies (as expressed to me) for the upcoming year are; new kitchen oven (done, except for the install), an RV trip to Maine (already on the calendar), a RV trip west to explore whatever interests us (already scheduled). In the past, I have built her a greenhouse, a garden pool/waterfall, a dedicated sewing room, and a "Gnome Home" for the garden. Now if I could only get her to stop waking me up in the middle of the night demanding sex all the time.

Last line hilarious!!! If you need any info on Maine feel free to get ahold of me. Lived in Brunswick for 4 years and loved the Maine coast.
