Will the results be posted promptly at 12:00am MST, or later on in the morning after a few cups of cowboy coffee and a denver omelet, green chili, and some home fries have settled down? [emoji38]

They usually hit about 11AM central time. Then the site crashes at 11:01AM central time...

You know...

...if you don't draw that type 1 non-res WY tag come next Thursday...

...you could get a round trip, non-stop ticket from Chicago to Iceland for the same amount of [emoji383] as you would have spent on the tag.

Why do you give a [emoji232] arse?

Because there is some amazing Atlantic salmon fishing to be had in Iceland! [emoji226]

With basically 6 months before archery season and a elk tag that I most likely will draw. I started PT on my Tendinitis and the gym 4 days a week until the spring weather allows me to get outside to get in elk shape. Hope all you huntaholics draw your tags and make the most of them

Just an FYI, there were about 900 more NR elk applicants this year over last year.

Price isn't causing people to quit applying.

As I've said b4, I think its just the in-thing right now in hunting. Lots of promotion, lots of technology to make things a little more within reach and a better economy than we've had. I'm part of it, I guess?

Still, [emoji383] is [emoji383]. If I don't draw, my $300 will go to chase some other animal or fish someplace more interesting than Iowa...[emoji23]

No doubt about it, if I don't draw I will still be in the west this fall chasing something. I look forward to it all year long. Whitetail hunting is fun here but nothing beats the west for spot and stalk hunting big game.
