Virtual marathon for the Marine Corps. My very FIRST Marathon! Weather was almost perfect. 40° with a very light breeze and just a little fog early that lifted. Great training exercise to see how my training is going with hopes of going sub 4 hours. Mission Accomplished! Endured a hamstring issue the last 5 miles but I’ve got an idea on how to fix that next time.
It was a great time with great friends and I learned a lot. Now I know how to start preparing for the next one. I even threw in 26+1 push-ups as I do after all my long runs. OORAH!!32295

Elliptical intervals series
3 min warmup
8 rds (2 min speed, 1 min rest)
1 rd (1 min /1 min )
1 min cooldown.

Also did a ten min ab workout video. Trying to start getting these ab workouts in on my none lift days. That's the one area I've been slacking in.

when you are in your fifty's, you sometimes have to laugh.
So i might have my broken my middle finger at the last knuckle, taking my sweats and socks off this morning after doing chores. the tip drops down at a 90 and I can pick it up and it just drops down. Does not hurt, but elk season starts saturday. At least it is not my trigger finger.

That sounds painful, hope a brace can sort that out...

Sounds like mallet-finger. Happened to my wife while we were playing in a charity kickball tournament!

a friend had a similar expierence, he thinks it is tendons. i kind of agree with him.
Yep, have to wear a finger splint for like 12 weeks. If you take it off and let your fingertip drop you have to start the 12 weeks over. Get online and get a 'figureight' splint....much easier to live with than a traditional splint.
