Finding a little more time, so I've been doing some leg exercises along with some upper body, and core. Work keeps me in fairly good condition, but if time allows I like to put in some extra before fall.

No luck so far. All but one bait was hit yesterday and the 3 river baits were not hit today. Caught my first walleye ( we got 4 overal ) and got that wrapped up in wet towels and in the freezer to bring home and mount. Along with a tail fan of my grouse. Got 3 more nights of bear hunting left counting tonight just sitting down in stand currently. Starting to get used to the tree stand thing. Im scared of heights so it was a bit of an adjustment for me. Definitely having a great time and the guide is getting anxious for us to get one on the ground

Well unfortunately we got skunked on bears. The guided said this is the first time he has ever had that happen with a group of 3 or more guys. The guide was amazing taught us a lot and great hospitality. Even though we didnt get our bears we had a great time. Hanging out as a family. We had good luck small game hunting. I ended up with a grouse (missed 1), woodcock, Dad got 2 grouse, and brother got 5 grouse (2 in 1 shot) and a red fox. The guide is also a traper so he skinned the fox for him and fleshed it. Brother caught 3 walleye and i caught one. It was a great adventure and we are ready to go back. The guide felt so bad that we didnt even get one bear. And said he very much enjoy having us. My dad and brother bought some wolf hides from him to bring home. Ill have pics and things later as we are on the road home for the next few days.

Looks like you guys had a great time! Hope you get a bear someday!
We did it was a great trip lots of first animals for us and great time. The only disappointment was not one of us getting a bear. This was a first for our guide having a group of 3 or more not get a single bear. He was a great host and we enjoyed our time with him. He even gave us his personal number told us to call when ever. He would rent the cabin to us for a october small game hunt/fishing trip if we wanted. And said to call him direct next time we want to bear hunt and he give us the rate we booked at 2 years ago which is already 300 less then the current rate they charge now.

Saw some animals ive nevere seen before. River otter, several beavers, 3 differnet wolf's one i tried to get a shot at after it ran over the two track i was on, ducks all kinds, geese, red fox, silver fox, grouse, woodcock, and im sure im missing some

Did some awesome hikes on a deer scouting trip this last weekend. I felt great and it was so awesome to get clean crisp air in my lungs.
