Bunch of house work and going over budget things with my wife. I normally pay all bills and budget but well im gone she needs to handle it for bit. Then going over when certain things need done like the trash pick up days and what not. Im about 80 percent packed. Just trying get things in order at home for well im gone.
Havent posted my weight ins in 5 or 6 weeks mostly cause of dispointment. It was 315 i believe last i posted todays weigh in was 323.4. But im happy cause the previous week it was 325.6. So i finally lost weight for the first time in awhile.

He was very active and then just vanished last month. I hope nothing bad happened as he was nearly mended from his fall.

Got a little signal up in the tree at the moment. No luck so far on bears. Was supper hot last two days high 70 to mid 80s yesterday. Temp high today 49 guide said the weather cool of should have them moving. All the baits are getting hit so thats a good sign. Saw a wolf the first day going down the river but was gone before i could get a good shot. We all have a some grousse under our belts from morning hunting thoae were yummy. And me and brother missed a few ducks today. Definitely a good adventure so far.
Fishing not what we hoped baough bunch of walleye jigs for up here but they have had a dry summer worst since 1941 he said so fishing is pretty slow

All of my conditioning really paid off on the mountain. I put 62.5 miles on over 6 days with elevations ranging from 8300' to 10,900' and honestly felt great. I didn't shoot an elk but my conditioning wasn't to blame- the 80 degree dry weather made for tough hunting. I was still into elk regularly and had opportunities but none panned out. I plan to go back out in 5 weeks with the rifle to fill the freezer.
